Sharp Motorsports is a professional motorsports operation under the ownership and leadership of owner and driver Zan Sharp.

Zan's career began in 1995 when he started racing modifieds. Zan's talent quickly showed itself in his first two years being voted most improved driver by his peers in 1995 and 1996. In 1998 Zan made the move to Late Model stock cars participating in selected events in different series including the NASCAR Southwest Tour and the REMAX Challenge Series.

In 1998 and in 1999 Zan competed in several Southwest Tour events. In 2000 the Sharp Motorsports team entered their first Winston West Series race.
For the 2003 racing season Zan will field Sharp Motorsports in the Intermountain Late Model Series, the NASCAR Southwest Tour, and Winston West series in the Utah, Idaho, Neveda area.

Zan is a successful businessman currently overseeing not only the racing operation, but several other businesses including Sharp Transportation, Inc. and Sharp Powder Coating. Zan understands the importance of promoting and marketing a business and has incorporated this into his racing program making the success of his sponsors in 2003 a top priority. Zan is aided by his wife Vivian and several other team members who are all equally committed to fielding a competitive team in 2003 and ensuring all sponsors receive the maximum benefits of sponsorship.
